Bitget has launched perpetual contracts tied to Nvidia H100 and B200 GPU rental prices, opening AI compute costs to retail crypto traders.

Bitget GPU Compute Perpetuals

The exchange listed H100USDT and B200USDT pre-market compute perpetuals, which track hourly rental costs for Nvidia chips instead of a token or an equity.

The contracts follow rental price indices published by Silicon Data, quoted in dollars per GPU-hour and settled in Tether (USDT). The perpetuals trade around the clock with leverage of up to 10 times.

Silicon Data compiles the indices by averaging rates across several cloud and compute providers, standardizing chip specifications, rental length, geography and contract terms. Bitget said the listing lets retail traders take a view on compute prices without renting hardware or signing cloud agreements.

Gracy Chen, Bitget's chief executive, said AI demand for chips, data centers and energy has made computing capacity a larger part of the digital economy. She said a more transparent compute price makes the market easier to reach through crypto infrastructure. Bitget presents the product as part of a wider push beyond crypto.

Institutional venues moved first. CME Group said on Aug. 11 that it will list Silicon Data H100 and B200 rental index futures on NYMEX on Oct. 5, pending regulatory review.
