Paris, France, August 11th, 2026, Chainwire
Zama, the fastest growing confidentiality protocol for onchain finance, has listed its native token $ZAMA on the main Revolut app across the EEA, putting a leading privacy project (and the case for onchain privacy) in front of millions of mainstream users.
Zama, the fastest growing confidentiality protocol for onchain finance, today announced that its native token, $ZAMA, is now available for trading on Revolut, the largest fintech in Europe. The listing opens access to $ZAMA for Revolut's more than 70 million customers, including the 15 million-plus people already trading crypto on the platform across the EEA.
Privacy is something people take for granted across the rest of their financial lives, but not onchain. Because public blockchains are transparent by design, balances, transactions, and positions are exposed by default. Zama exists to close that gap. Using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), it brings confidentiality to the assets and public blockchains people already use, such as Ethereum, without a separate privacy chain and without sacrificing compliance or auditability. Zama is the HTTPS moment for blockchain: the point where privacy stops being optional and becomes the default.
Listing $ZAMA on Revolut is a deliberate, long-term opportunity in reaching that audience. Confidential onchain finance only delivers on its promise at scale, and its value grows with the number of people who can access it. Meeting mainstream users where they already are, inside an app tens of millions of Europeans use every day, is how privacy moves from a niche concern to a default expectation, and how the case for it finally reaches beyond existing crypto circles.
> "Privacy is something people expect everywhere else in their financial lives, but onchain they simply haven't been able to have it," said Dr. Rand Hindi, Co-founder and CEO of Zama. "We built Zama to change that, bringing confidentiality to the assets and networks people already use, rather than asking them to move to a separate chain. Listing $ZAMA on Revolut is a long-term investment in reaching people well beyond today's crypto users, because privacy only becomes real when it is available to everyone. Privacy shouldn't be a feature you go looking for. It should be the default."
What the listing means for Revolut users
- Simple access. Existing Revolut users can buy and hold $ZAMA in the app they already use: no new accounts, no extra KYC, and no separate custody arrangements.
- Low fees. Trading fees start from 0% on the main Revolut app, with instant fiat funding from a user's Revolut balance.
- Onchain withdrawals. As the only banking app in the EEA with onchain crypto transfers, Revolut lets users withdraw $ZAMA to their own self-custody wallet.
Learn & Earn: making the case for privacy, not just the trade
Access is only the starting point. Later this year, Zama and Revolut will launch a dedicated Learn & Earn campaign designed to help users understand why privacy on the blockchain matters, and reward them for engaging with it. Rather than treating the listing as a one-off event, the campaign educates a large, non-specialist audience on confidential onchain finance, building on a format Revolut has used to drive meaningful engagement and adoption for other networks. It is how "privacy should go mainstream" becomes something people actually learn, rather than a slogan.
Privacy, now practical
The listing follows a run of deployments that have moved Zama's technology out of the research stage and into production, spanning confidential lending, real-world asset tokenization, and institutional token operations. The signal is consistent: privacy on public blockchains is no longer a theory discussed in labs, but a practical capability now reaching everyday users through platforms they already trust.
$ZAMA is available to eligible Revolut users in the EEA from August 2026. For more information, visit zama.org or follow @Zama on X.
