Solana (SOL) traded above $76 on Aug. 11 after gaining more than 6% in a week, while three bullish signals put $100, unseen since February 2026, back in focus.

Key Points:

  • Solana's weekly recovery above $76 is paired with a parallel channel, a TD Sequential buy signal and a MACD golden cross.
  • A break above roughly $78 could open a path toward $100, according to Ali Martinez.
  • Network activity also strengthened, with 1.01 billion non-vote transactions in one week and tokenized equities reaching about $1.45 billion in July volume.

Solana Bullish Signals

Solana has recovered with the broader crypto market, but Martinez says the next important test sits near the $78 level. A parallel price channel places that area close to the mid-range on the chart, while the channel's upper boundary is near $100.

Martinez also identified a TD Sequential buy signal on Solana's daily chart, a setup that can precede a one-to-four candle advance or begin a new bullish countdown. Resistance near $78.7 overlaps with the channel's mid-range, making a clear break above that zone important for confirmation.

The MACD has also produced what Martinez described as a golden cross, giving traders a third bullish signal. If those indicators hold and SOL clears resistance, he said the token could move toward $100.

SOL Market Context

The technical setup comes as Solana records heavier network activity and adds more financial products. BlackRock launched BRSRV to support stablecoin reserves, while Western Union introduced Stablecard using a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank on Solana.

Take-Two Interactive also brought tokenized TTWO shares to the network through Backpack Securities, with each token backed 1:1 by the underlying stock.

Solana processed a record 1.01 billion non-vote transactions in one week, while tokenized equities generated about $1.45 billion in July volume and roughly 82% of global market share.

Trader Pepesso had previously described SOL as one of crypto's cleanest setups, focusing on the $45-$60 range that helped launch its 2023-2024 bull run. He said a return to that zone could still fit an accumulation thesis if $45 held, while a decisive break below it would invalidate the setup.

Pepesso also identified $100 as the first major upside confirmation level, with $150-$200 becoming relevant only after SOL reclaimed it. That earlier framework gives the current $78 breakout test added significance, because $100 remains both a technical channel target and a broader confirmation level.
