XRP (XRP) climbed to a seven-month high of $1.67 after a sharp daily rally before pulling back, while ETF inflows strengthened and derivatives liquidations topped $109 million.

Key Points:

  • XRP gained 15% after breaking above $1.50 and briefly reaching $1.67.
  • XRP ETFs drew $18.3 million in daily net inflows, their strongest total in three months.
  • More than $109 million in long and short positions were liquidated as open interest kept rising.

XRP ETF Demand

The token cleared $1.50 during the latest advance before slipping to $1.5114, leaving it 15% higher on the day as trading volume rose 89% in the session.

On-chain data from CryptoQuant showed Whale to Exchange Flow falling to 336, back near levels recorded before the broader market recovery began three days earlier, indicating fewer whale-linked transfers toward trading venues.

Lower whale-linked transfers to exchanges can reduce immediate selling pressure without proving fresh purchases, while Whale Insider reported Bitwise’s XRP ETF drew $16.9 million for a third positive day and total XRP ETF inflows reached $18.3 million, a three-month high.

CoinGlass Leverage Risk

Derivatives activity remained elevated after traders absorbed heavy losses, with CoinGlass showing $59.7 million in long liquidations and $49 million in short liquidations over 24 hours, pushing the combined total above $109 million. Open interest still increased 10% to $3.68 billion, while derivatives volume jumped 65% to $19.2 billion, indicating that market participants kept adding exposure despite the liquidation wave.

TradingView data also kept the technical picture constructive, with the Relative Vigor Index rising to 0.49 and the Momentum Indicator reaching 0.53, readings consistent with continued bullish momentum but not protection against leverage-driven volatility.

If demand holds, XRP could target $1.94 next. The seven-month high followed a three-day market recovery and a breakout above $1.50, but the retreat from $1.67 to $1.5114 shows how quickly momentum can reverse, with $1.30 remaining the cited downside support.
