Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) gained 10% in 24 hours as trading volume, whale activity and spot buying strengthened the case for a move toward $0.68.

Key Points:

  • VIRTUAL rose 10% while daily trading volume jumped 180% to about $115 million.
  • The token moved above its 20-day and 50-day EMAs as buyers defended the $0.52 to $0.54 demand zone.
  • Whale futures orders and stronger spot buying support the rally, though higher volatility leaves room for a pullback.

VIRTUAL Price Setup

VIRTUAL was trading above its 20-day and 50-day exponential moving averages, a technical shift that placed the token back above two closely watched short-term trend indicators. Buyers also continued defending the $0.52 to $0.54 demand zone.

That area has already supported three upward moves during the past month, while resistance near $0.60 remains the immediate level bulls need to clear before $0.68 comes into view. The setup is improving.

Trading activity strengthened alongside the price advance, with daily volume rising 180% to roughly $115 million, according to data cited from Santiment. Higher volume can provide more liquidity for a breakout attempt.

VIRTUAL Market Signals

Futures data from CryptoQuant showed clusters of larger average order sizes around current price levels, indicating that larger traders were becoming more active as VIRTUAL extended its advance. Whale participation alone does not guarantee further gains.

Spot market data added another supportive signal, as VIRTUAL's Spot Taker CVD showed buyers becoming more dominant after a period of limited directional activity. That suggests market orders were increasingly absorbing available sell liquidity.

Daily price volatility also climbed to about 4.2%, which reflects stronger participation but raises the risk of sharper moves in either direction. A firm break above roughly $0.60 would strengthen the case for a test of $0.68.

If momentum fades, VIRTUAL could retreat toward its moving averages before attempting another advance.

The token's ability to hold above those levels would help determine whether the latest move is a durable breakout or another short-lived recovery.

Over the past month, the $0.52 to $0.54 zone has repeatedly acted as a launch point, producing three successful uptrends before the latest 10% gain. That history makes the same area the clearest support to watch if buyers lose control.
