Bitget marked its eighth anniversary on Monday, saying non-crypto assets peaked at 40% of trading volume as it pushes deeper into stocks, derivatives and institutional business.
Bitget UEX Rollout
The exchange said the past year brought stock perpetual contracts, U.S. stock options and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts. Its rToken product passed $100 million in assets under management within five weeks and has since logged more than 3 million transactions. One in four new users now starts there.
TradFi perpetual contracts and contracts for difference each cleared $10 billion in daily volume, according to Bitget, which also added an autonomous trading agent called AI Playbook. Proof of Reserves coverage will widen from four assets to 24.

"Eight years in crypto feels a lot longer than eight years anywhere else," said Gracy Chen, chief executive of Bitget. She said crypto and traditional markets are converging. Institutional participation is accelerating, she said. The company's protection fund averaged roughly $382 million in August 2026, money set aside to cover customer losses. Anniversary events run through KCGI 2026, a trading competition with a 3 million Tether (USDT) prize pool.
