US spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs lost $462.7 million over four trading sessions last week, ending a three-week inflow run, while Ether (ETH) funds gained nearly $197 million.

Bitcoin ETF Outflows Deepen
The withdrawals ran through every session from Tuesday to Friday, according to Farside Investors, in a trading week shortened by the Labor Day holiday. Pressure peaked on Thursday, when the funds gave up $282.7 million in a single day, their heaviest outflow since July. Friday's exit slowed to $13.2 million, but the negative run still reached four sessions, SoSoValue data shows.
ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF led the weekly redemptions with $234.2 million, followed by Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust, which handed back $129.1 million over the same stretch. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust lost $52.5 million, and Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund gave up $50.7 million.
Morgan Stanley's fund held up better, taking in roughly $19.6 million. The damage did little to the category's overall size, since spot Bitcoin ETFs still control about $97.58 billion in net assets, or 6.28% of Bitcoin's market value. Cumulative inflows since the funds launched in January 2024 slipped to $55.15 billion, down from $55.62 billion at the prior week's close.

BlackRock Fund Lifts Ether ETFs
Ether products moved the other way over the identical four sessions, although the turn arrived only in the last of them. Flows were choppy at first, with $24.3 million leaving on Tuesday, $34.7 million arriving on Wednesday and another $29.9 million exiting on Thursday, before the category pulled in $216.4 million on Friday.
BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust supplied $148.8 million of that Friday figure, while 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF added $29.1 million on the same day. Solana (SOL) and XRP (XRP) funds also stayed positive, drawing $10.3 million and $18.98 million. Ether ETFs have now posted four consecutive weeks of net inflows.
Ted Pillows Warns On Bitcoin
Analyst Ted Pillows warned that Bitcoin's weekly candle looked poor, and he said sellers would seize control if the week closed anywhere near its lows. The stakes rise from here because the Federal Reserve decides on rates Sept. 16, and futures markets put the odds of a quarter-point increase at 87%.
The reversal interrupts an unusually strong stretch for the category. August delivered $3.52 billion in net inflows, the best month of 2026, after July produced only $172 million and Bitcoin rallied roughly 25% over those four weeks. Even with last week's losses, spot Bitcoin ETFs remain positive for September, at about $307.3 million in net inflows through Friday.
