XRP (XRP) remains on track for a possible $2 test after network activity surged, though price still faces several resistance levels before that target comes into view.
Key Points:
- XRP active addresses rose more than 650% in two weeks, from 47,180 to 356,070.
- RLUSD (RLUSD) volume on the XRP Ledger crossed $1B on Aug. 30.
- XRP needs to reclaim the $1.55-$1.60 area before $1.70, $1.80 and $2 become stronger technical targets.
XRP Network Activity
Stronger XRP Ledger activity has accompanied the token’s August rally, which remains about 31% despite a roughly 5% decline over the past week. Active addresses climbed from 47,180 to 356,070 in two weeks, an increase of more than 650%.
RLUSD volume on the XRP Ledger crossed $1B on Aug. 30, adding another sign of heavier network use during the month. Receiving addresses briefly reached 926,000, while the transaction rate rose 151%, according to data cited in the report.
The surge in participation gives the rally a stronger on-chain backdrop, although the figures do not establish that network growth will translate directly into further price gains.

XRP Price Outlook
MjB38, a crypto news account cited in the report, pointed to expanding tokenized stocks, metals and Dubai real estate on XRPL but cautioned that those assets cannot yet be tied directly to the activity spike. That distinction matters because usage growth can support demand without identifying which applications are driving it.
XRP’s immediate technical barrier sits around $1.41-$1.45, with a daily close above $1.45 opening a path toward $1.57. A stronger move through $1.55-$1.60 would put $1.70 and $1.80 back in focus, with $2 becoming the larger psychological target.
Support remains concentrated around $1.30-$1.36, while deeper structural support sits near $1.28, and a break below $1.30 could expose the $1 level identified in the analysis as a more serious bearish threshold.
Broader market conditions remain uneven, with Bitcoin (BTC) trading just below $78,000 on Monday morning, according to CryptoNews.
XRP spent much of August between $1.35 and $1.55, so the next breakout must first clear a range that repeatedly capped price despite the token’s roughly 31% monthly gain.
