Bittensor (TAO) rose more than 10% in 24 hours as Nvidia’s record quarterly revenue revived interest in AI-linked crypto, bringing the $260 reversal level back into focus.

Key Points:

  • Bittensor gained more than 21% over the past week as AI-sector sentiment improved.
  • CoinMarketCap data showed TAO mindshare rose 23%, with mentions and engagements topping 12,440.
  • A sustained move above $260 could confirm a broader bullish reversal, while rejection may send TAO back toward its former trendline.

Bittensor AI Rally

Bittensor extended its advance after Nvidia reported record second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion, a result that strengthened sentiment around artificial intelligence assets.

The move also helped lift other AI-linked tokens, including Venice Token (VVV). The broader AI sector posted a smaller gain.

CoinMarketCap’s Social Insights showed TAO mindshare increasing 23%, with mentions and engagements above 12,440, while the Bittensor ecosystem had expanded to 128 subnets.

Liquidity also increased by more than $600,000 after a pool pairing TAO with USD Coin (USDC) launched on Aerodrome, expanding access for Base users. Token Terminal data showed average Bittensor trading volume exceeded $300 million around mid-August.

TAO Reversal Test

On the daily chart, TAO moved above a descending trendline that had capped the token since late March and reclaimed its 200-day exponential moving average near $236.50. A retest around $225 then confirmed the trendline breakout, while the funding rate stood at 0.0055% and the Relative Volatility Index reached 72.77.

An analyst cited in the report said, “If $TAO breaches over the $260 range will be absolutely ready to trigger the full bullish reversal.” A confirmed break could expose resistance around $290 and $350, with levels above $450 also in view. Failure at $260 could push the token back toward the broken trendline or its prior consolidation range.

The current setup follows several months of pressure after the descending trendline formed in late March. TAO last traded above $450 in November, making the $260 area a nearer-term test before the market can revisit those higher zones.
