Solana (SOL) drew $348 million in net real-world asset inflows over 30 days, while RWA.xyz now lists $4.23 billion in distributed asset value.

Key Points:

  • Solana led major networks with $348 million in net RWA inflows over 30 days, according to the RWA Foundation.
  • RWA.xyz lists $4.23 billion in distributed asset value on Solana as of Sept. 8, with 422,797 RWA holders.
  • These flows are not ordinary crypto trading volume.

Solana Tokenization Inflows

The RWA Foundation said on Sept. 5 that Solana led major blockchain networks in net RWA flows during the previous 30 days, citing data from RWA.xyz. They do not measure ordinary crypto trading.

RWA.xyz's Solana page lists distributed asset value at $4.23 billion as of Sept. 8, up 11.59% from 30 days earlier, with 422,797 RWA holders. That is far above Bitcoinist's cited $720 million.

The distinction matters because RWA flows track tokenized products such as Treasuries, credit instruments and funds, not memecoin liquidity or speculative exchange volume. The difference is important.

RWA Foundation View

The RWA Foundation called Solana the network "leading the pack" for 30-day RWA flows, a description supported by the $348 million net inflow figure. The result points to broader demand for tokenized assets on a chain long associated with retail trading, NFTs and memecoins.

That does not prove broad institutional adoption. The data does show that issuers and investors are using Solana for a growing range of tokenized products, while the network's low fees and fast settlement remain practical advantages.

Solana's RWA expansion now sits alongside its established DeFi and consumer activity, giving the network more than one source of onchain demand.

That mix could matter if speculative trading weakens, because tokenized assets may follow different demand cycles than memecoins or short-term trading flows.

Solana's role has changed repeatedly. Over the past few years, the network has moved from an Ethereum (ETH) challenger to an NFT, DeFi and memecoin hub, while tokenized assets now add another distinct source of demand.
