What Happened

Bitmine acquired 32,977 ETH during the final week of 2025 according to the company announcement.

The company has 659,219 ETH currently staked, valued at approximately $2.1 billion.

Meeting agenda includes voting on increasing authorized shares and approving executive compensation arrangements.

Why It Matters

Bitmine operates as the largest public corporate Ethereum treasury by token count.

The company's ETH holdings represent approximately one-third of its stated goal to acquire 5% of Ethereum's total supply.

Ethereum's total circulating supply stands at approximately 120.7 million tokens.

The company averaged $1.1 billion in daily trading volume over a five-day period, ranking as the 44th most traded US stock according to company data.

Bitmine's business model focuses on cryptocurrency accumulation for long-term investment rather than active trading.

The staking infrastructure could generate recurring income from the company's Ethereum holdings once operational.
