Theorem Launches Exchange Infrastructure Built for the Next Phase of Tokenized Asset Markets

Dubai, UAE, September 1st, 2026, Chainwire

Theorem, an RWA exchange infrastructure, launches today its exchange infrastructure designed specifically for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). The platform allows issuers, tokenization platforms and blockchain networks to deploy and operate customizable secondary markets that reflect the unique requirements of each asset.

Tokenization continues to rapidly expand across financial markets: by some estimates, it has already surpassed $28 billion by June 2026. Yet only about $3 billion of that value is actively used in DeFi, highlighting how much of today’s tokenized capital remains difficult to trade. Furthermore, 93-100% of capital that enters RWA protocols comes through primary subscriptions, while genuine DEX acquisition accounts for only 0-6% in most cases.

Issuance of assets being significantly easier than secondary trading is a challenge that still remains largely unsolved, and that is precisely the gap that Theorem is designed to bridge.

Instead of adding yet another decentralized exchange to the market, Theorem acts as a provider of exchange infrastructure that partners can deploy under their own brand and manage themselves. The core design idea is to enable organizations to launch dedicated trading venues while retaining full ownership, operational control and administrative rights.

Theorem is powered by Algebra Integral, the production-tested exchange infrastructure that has been deployed across more than 100 decentralized exchanges on over 50 EVM-compatible networks. Building on this foundation, Theorem adds a configurable rule framework designed specifically for tokenized real-world assets.

Under that framework, there is no need to force assets to conform to typical DEX mechanics. Instead, trading venues can incorporate KYC and eligibility checks, ownership restrictions, market hours, reference pricing, external identity providers and many other asset-specific trading rules while remaining fully compatible with decentralized infrastructure.

By doing things this way, the platform also addresses the question of infrastructure ownership. For institutional participants especially, this is a notable concern, because they cannot afford to depend on governance decisions unilaterally issued by third-party exchanges. With Theorem’s approach, they don’t have to: partners can deploy their own venues, reducing operational dependencies and maintaining full control over how their markets evolve.

> "The first phase of tokenization was all about bringing assets on-chain. That has been achieved. The next phase is making those assets truly usable," says Vladimir Tikhomirov, Founder of Theorem. "Without efficient secondary markets, many tokenized assets remain mostly static after issuance. Theorem aims to change that: by giving every asset a market that follows its own rules, we ensure that those assets no longer have to be limited by existing exchange infrastructure."

Theorem is available for deployment on EVM-compatible blockchains, allowing partners to launch their own branded RWA trading venues without governance votes or third-party approval. Integration terms can be discussed by reaching out to the team via the website.

About Theorem

Theorem is RWA exchange infrastructure designed to enable secondary markets for tokenized assets. Powered by Algebra, it allows issuers, tokenization platforms, and blockchain networks to deploy and control customizable trading venues with asset-specific rules, including KYC requirements, trading hours, ownership restrictions, and reference pricing.

About Algebra

Algebra is a DeFi infrastructure company providing technology for blockchain ecosystems and financial platforms to launch customizable digital asset trading services. Its infrastructure powers more than 105 decentralized exchanges across 25+ EVM-compatible blockchains, with over $200 billion in cumulative trading volume processed by protocols built on Algebra. Through its flagship product, Algebra Integral, the company enables partners to build secure, scalable, and fully customizable digital asset markets.
