XRP (XRP) traded near $1.10 on Monday as analyst targets for the month clustered between $1.10 and $1.25 ahead of the Federal Reserve decision.

Key Points:

  • XRP held between $1.09 and $1.11 on Jul. 27, below every major moving average on the daily chart.
  • Near-term forecasts for the month gather between $1.10 and $1.25, while Standard Chartered's year-end call sits at $2.80.
  • The $1.085 trendline and the Jul. 28-29 Fed meeting are the two levers traders are watching.

XRP Price Pins To The $1.085 Trendline

The token changed hands between $1.09 and $1.11 through Monday, holding an ascending trendline that has capped losses since the end of June. Its 20-, 50-, 100- and 200-day simple moving averages all sit above the spot price, at roughly $1.10, $1.11, $1.24 and $1.38, which leaves every major average working as resistance.

Momentum has gone quiet rather than negative.

The 14-day RSI reads near 48.9 and the average directional index sits below 15, a level that usually points to a weak trend instead of a clear direction for either side. Daily trading ranges have narrowed to roughly three cents, a compression that tends to end in a sharp move once it breaks.

Traders flagged $1.085, the point where the rising trendline meets horizontal support, as the line that decides the next move, with a close below it opening $1.06 and a bounce putting $1.116 back in view.

XRP Forecasts Split On Fed And Ripple Mint

Near-term forecasts for July gather between $1.10 and $1.25, drawing on chart levels, fund flows and seasonal patterns, with resistance most often placed in the $1.18 to $1.20 zone. Longer-dated calls run much wider. Standard Chartered cut its year-end 2026 target to $2.80 from an earlier $8 after a February sell-off, while leaving its 2030 figure at $28.

Ripple launched Ripple Mint on Jul. 23, an institutional platform that lets banks, exchanges and payment firms mint, redeem and manage its dollar-backed stablecoin. Spot XRP funds have gathered more than $1.5 billion since the first products reached the market in late 2025.

None of that has reached the price, and retail positioning has stayed lopsided, with one brokerage snapshot showing 95.4% of open XRP accounts long.

Bitcoin dominance has climbed to 56.47% and the Fear and Greed Index reads 30, a combination that suggests capital is pooling in Bitcoin (BTC) rather than rotating into smaller tokens. Kevin Warsh will chair the Federal Open Market Committee on Jul. 28 and Jul. 29, with rates at 3.50% to 3.75% after the June session and a hawkish statement likely to press risk assets lower.

XRP Trades Far Below Its 2025 Peak

The current range sits far from where the token started the year, when XRP opened 2026 above $2.30 in mid-January before falling through $1.50 and testing the $1 mark in late June. It closed Jul. 27 about 41.8% lower year to date and roughly 65.9% below its Jul. 21, 2025 peak of $3.66.
