- The company has spent $63.95 billion on its Bitcoin position at an average cost of $75,437 per coin.
- Strategy also sold more than 1.46 million MSTR shares for $246.2 million as it continued using equity markets alongside its treasury strategy.
Strategy Bitcoin Purchase
Strategy disclosed that it acquired 1,665 BTC between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27 for $142.7 million, paying an average $85,681 per Bitcoin. The purchase raised its total holdings to 847,666 BTC.
The company said those holdings were acquired for $63.95 billion in total, putting its average purchase price at $75,437 per Bitcoin. It was Strategy’s second consecutive weekly Bitcoin purchase after a brief pause earlier in September.
Strategy also sold just over 1.46 million MSTR common shares for $246.2 million through its at-the-market program. The equity sale provided fresh capital while the company continued both Bitcoin purchases and repurchases of its STRC preferred stock, which totaled nearly $152 million for the week.

Phong Le STRC
Strategy CEO Phong Le said in July that the company wants STRC to trade over time between $99 and $100. He said repurchasing shares below $100 can reduce future preferred dividend obligations at a discount while allowing market demand to establish the security’s price.
That policy helps explain why Strategy is allocating capital to both Bitcoin and STRC. The company is supporting a preferred financing instrument while continuing to add to the Bitcoin treasury that anchors its balance-sheet strategy.
Executive Chairman Michael Saylor has separately described Bitcoin as the foundation of a wider digital capital stack that includes digital credit and equity. That framework puts the company’s Bitcoin purchases and preferred-stock management inside the same broader capital strategy.
The latest move follows a clear September sequence. Strategy bought no Bitcoin from Sept. 8-13 while spending $139.3 million on STRC repurchases.
From Sept. 14-20, it bought 950 BTC for $75.7 million and repurchased $174 million of STRC. The latest week increased the Bitcoin purchase to 1,665 BTC while keeping STRC buybacks near $152 million.
