EVEDEX, a hybrid decentralised cryptocurrency exchange, has launched Funded Trading, a programme that gives traders access to amplified capital against their own collateral without an evaluation phase and without surrendering a share of profits. Six account sizes are available, from 1,500 USDT to 100,000 USDT, and all trading pairs on the platform are open to funded accounts.
Six Tiers, One Collateral Deposit
Each tier pairs an account size with a fixed entry collateral: 1,500 USDT against 50 USDT, 5,000 against 165, 10,000 against 335, 25,000 against 835, 50,000 against 1,665 and 100,000 against 3,335. The ratio holds at roughly thirty to one across the range, so a trader posting a few hundred dollars operates a five-figure account.
Risk parameters are identical at every tier: a maximum drawdown of 3% and maximum leverage of 3x. The drawdown limit is the operative constraint. Because the account is amplified against a small collateral base, a 3% move against the position on the full account size is what determines whether the account survives, and that is a far tighter tolerance than most crypto traders are used to.
Profits are paid out instantly and in full. EVEDEX takes no profit share.
How It Differs From the Prop-Firm Model
The prop-trading industry has converged on a standard structure: a trader pays a fee, passes a multi-stage evaluation with profit targets and time limits, receives a simulated funded account, and splits profits with the firm, typically keeping 70% to 90%. The model has drawn persistent criticism over evaluation rules designed to be failed and over payout disputes. EVEDEX's version removes three of those components. There is no challenge, so no evaluation fee and no profit target to hit under a deadline. There is no profit split, so payouts are not a negotiated share. And the collateral is posted rather than paid, which changes what the trader is exposed to: the downside is the collateral, not a non-refundable assessment fee.
The trade-off sits in the risk parameters. Three-times leverage and a 3% drawdown ceiling are conservative by the standards of a platform that offers up to 200x on its standard accounts, and the programme is built for traders who can hold position sizing tight rather than for high-volatility strategies.
Funded accounts run on the same infrastructure as the rest of the platform, with settlement on Arbitrum, an off-chain order book, gasless execution and assets held in smart contracts. EVEDEX reports more than 74,000 registered traders and monthly trading volume above $15B.
