Tron (TRX) DAO announced Tuesday the integration of TRC-20 USDT payments on NEXUS's CROSS Pay infrastructure, enabling users to purchase in-game items through the CROSS Shop platform.
The companies [stated] the service is live and operational, with a 0% payment fee structure.
CROSS Pay functions as the payment layer for NEXUS's gaming ecosystem. The integration allows global users to conduct transactions settled on the TRON network using USDT issued on the TRC-20 token standard.
Technical Implementation
TRON's network processes approximately 2 million transactions daily and handles a significant portion of global USDT circulation, which exceeded $85 billion as of February 2026.
TRC-20 transfers typically cost between $0.0005 and $0.001 per transaction, completing settlement within seconds.
The zero-fee payment model applies to the CROSS Pay platform layer rather than blockchain network fees.
Users still incur standard TRON network transaction costs when moving USDT between wallets and the platform.
