MOI.technology is partnering with Yellow Network to let people put AI agents to work on their behalf, under rules they own, scoped in real time, and settled across chains. MOI supplies participant-held authority: agents act only inside a live mandate you can tighten, widen, or revoke without handing over credentials. Yellow Network supplies the clearing and settlement those agents need when they trade, across every chain Yellow supports.
AI agents are starting to trade. They quote, hedge, route orders, and settle with other agents, faster than anyone can watch. Two questions decide whether that works: is this agent allowed to do what it is doing, and did the value actually move and clear?
MOI answers the first. Yellow Network answers the second.
MOI is enabling MAL, the MOI Authority Layer, a protocol that lets people control what their AI agents can do. Every action an agent takes runs on scoped, run-time authority from its user, the same way people delegate to each other. There is no standing bearer token to steal and no signature to reuse: authority is checked on every action, so the human stays in the loop at machine speed. MAL is built on MOI’s patented Contextual Compute and is live on testnet today, with mainnet to follow.
“Authority without settlement is only half the job. Yellow Network gives MOI-authorized agents a place to trade and clear at machine speed, without anyone giving up custody.” - Anantha Krishnan, CEO, MOI.technology
A mandate only matters once an agent can act on it. The MOI Authority Layer enables authorized agents to trade and settle on the chain their user chooses, while Yellow Network enables the clearing and settlement layer for agentic trading:
- State channels that execute at machine speed, with no gas fee per trade
- Multi-party clearing: many agents trade and net off-chain, then settle once on-chain
- Counterparty risk capped at what each side commits to a session
- Chain-abstracted balances across EVM chains, Solana, and more to come, so an agent is never stuck on one network
What we are building together
- An owner sets rules in MOI: size caps, venues, instruments, time windows, data access.
- Those rules travel with the agent as live authority, not a static API key.
- Agents authorized under that mandate trade and settle on Yellow Network, on any chain Yellow supports.
- Settlement stays non-custodial on Yellow.
- If the owner changes the rules mid-session, the agent’s next action follows the new rules.
It works both ways. Any MOI-authorized agent, on any chain, can clear through Yellow. Any agent already running on Yellow can bind itself to MOI authority.
Agents will also be able to put this to work on Yellow Pro. An agent trading there under a MOI mandate stays inside the markets, size limits, and session budget you set, and its trades settle on Yellow Pro.
Both networks are heading to mainnet, and integration work starts once MOI’s SDKs ship in October. The goal is simple: agents that work for you, on your rules, settling wherever Yellow clears, without you giving up custody or finding out an agent outran last week’s policy.
MOI decides who may act. Yellow is where the trade clears. Together, agentic trading stops depending on “hope the prompt holds” and starts running on accountable autonomy.
About Yellow Network
Yellow Network is the clearing and settlement protocol for crypto. Built on non-custodial state channels, it clears and settles trades between AI agents and applications across connected blockchains, at machine speed, with funds released against agreed conditions rather than held by an intermediary.
