Bitget Launches Dedicated AI Trading Account For Its GetClaw Agent

Bitget launched a dedicated account structure for its AI trading agent, GetClaw, enabling the system to execute live trades autonomously — a move CEO Gracy Chen said is aimed at preparing infrastructure for a future where AI agents trade across financial markets at scale.

GetClaw Account Structure

The new setup assigns a separate sub-account to GetClaw, the exchange's AI agent. Within that environment, the tool can place real trades based on natural-language instructions, track markets around the clock and adjust positions without manual input.

The feature builds on Bitget's earlier rollout of GetClaw as a zero-installation trading agent and the expansion of its Agent Hub, which added analytical tools connecting market data directly to trade execution.

The sub-account model creates a clear boundary between user-held assets and agent-driven activity, allowing traders to define strategies in plain terms while the agent handles execution within set parameters.

"Sooner or later emerging financial markets are going to be filled with AI agents trading on behalf of users. We're preparing the infrastructure to run this on scale," Chen said.

Agentic Trading Direction

Rather than layering AI on top of existing tools, Bitget is embedding it directly into the exchange's core architecture.

Through Agent Hub, automated systems access real-time data, analytics and execution through the same infrastructure human traders use.

The approach reflects a broader industry shift toward what is known as agentic trading — where AI moves beyond analysis and recommendations to active market participation.

Within Bitget's Universal Exchange model, which combines crypto assets and tokenized traditional instruments under one account structure, agent accounts extend platform capabilities past manual trading into environments where analysis and execution run in parallel.
