Bitget has launched a demo account for its contracts-for-difference product, letting traders practice with live market data and 10,000 Tether (USDT) in virtual funds.

Bitget CFD Demo

Bitget announced the feature Oct. 15, saying the account covers forex, precious metals, indices, commodities and crypto through its app and website. It activates once users accept the CFD terms, without extra identity checks. Traders can adjust virtual balances at any time, and positions run on live quotes, so leverage, spreads and price moves closely mirror real markets.

The account supports ECN and zero-fee trading modes, and experienced traders can test strategies through API integration before going live. One tap moves users between demo and live accounts without affecting live positions.

New Market Expansion

"When entering a new market, understanding price movements is only part of the learning curve," said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen. Traders also need to grasp new mechanics, terminology and risk management, she said. Chen said the demo uses the same quotes, leverage rules and liquidation logic as live trading, so users can learn CFDs "with none of their capital at stake."

Bitget has expanded its CFD business this year, adding copy trading with a 50 USDT minimum on Apr. 14 and a zero-fee mode on Jun. 10. The company said daily CFD volume reached $8 billion in May.
