Bitcoin’s liquidity setup hints at short squeeze to $111K

Bitcoin's price currently lingers just beneath the critical resistance level of $96,500. However, a liquidation heatmap on Binance's BTC/USDT pair suggests the possibility of an upward short squeeze. Analyst Kevin (@Kev_Capital_TA) highlights the formation of significant liquidity pools both above and below Bitcoin’s current range, potentially indicating an imminent move.

Kevin points out that recent market activity aligns with his past analyses. He notes that liquidity has been drawn towards the $91,000 level, with even more substantial liquidity accumulating around $111,000. This configuration suggests a potential price move to $111,000, driven by the dense concentration of liquidity at this higher level.

Emotion in the market is unusually high, says Kevin, noting that some prominent figures are resigning from platforms and content creation has dwindled. Meanwhile, his analytical approach remains focused and disciplined. He criticizes the market's frequent preoccupation with altcoins, arguing it distracts from the broader metrics that stakeholders should be monitoring.

The Bitcoin liquidation heatmap is a crucial tool to identify where large leveraged positions may be forced to liquidate. These clusters, often emerging as "hot spots," heighten the risk of cascading price actions if triggered.

Kevin notes that Bitcoin's current heatmap reveals significant potential liquidations at both the $91K and $111K levels, with the latter showing unprecedented liquidity levels, suggesting a forthcoming relief rally that could force short positions to close.

Contributing to this market dynamic, the Fear & Greed Index currently registers in the "fear" zone, a sentiment that Kevin believes could catalyze a rapid momentum shift. He advises market participants to remain calm and rational, avoiding overly pessimistic views. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $96,334.
