Crypto exchange Bitget is making a comeback in the UK, as the web3 provider announced it is relaunching the platform to provide access to British users.
The Bitget platform relaunch in the UK is aligned with the Financial Promotions Regime. The crypto exchange is offering over 150 tokens to crypto users in Britain. This makes Bitget the most comprehensive crypto platform in the country.
This relaunch comes at a time when the crypto exchange started its “Pitch n Slay” initiative under its Blockchain4Her program. Bitget announced this to support web3 women entrepreneurs by providing them with funding opportunities worth $100,000 along with exposure, guidance and mentorship
The extensive offering of more than 150 digital currencies for trading is ahead of the token variety seen in other crypto exchanges. This shows that Bitget is committed to broadening options for crypto traders in the UK. It strengthens the Seychelles-based platform’s position ahead of other UK crypto exchanges.
This comes in the face of rising digital assets diversification demand amongst crypto investors in the UK. The relaunch of Bitget’s UK platform is completely in line with the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) Financial Promotions Regime which underlines that all promotional activities should follow fairness standards and be transparent.
Bitget’s UK users can access a wide range of crypto trading and custody services. This includes tokenized real-world assets. The regulated digital securities exchange Archax has provided the essential local endorsement that Bitget needs to operate under the regulatory framework of the UK.
As this endorsement fulfils all the offshore crypto exchange requirements set by the Financial Promotions Regime, it will make way for Bitget to enter the UK market. Archax is vetting Bitget’s offerings, strengthening the crypto exchange's compliance efforts and enhancing the security for UK users.
Julia Loder, the Regulatory Head at Archax said that the institution is dedicated to upholding “ the high standards of the Regime” and to provide “UK investors access to a transparent trading experience.”
The CEO of Bitget, Gracy Chen called this relaunch “a step towards establishing Bitget as a long-term, compliant partner in diverse markets, providing investors with a platform to explore digital assets”.
Entering the UK market will strengthen Bitget’s global presence which boasts of more than 450 million crypto users from 150 countries across the world.
