Dogecoin (DOGE) held above $0.073 after a 200 million-token transfer through Robinhood intensified speculation about the buyer and raised expectations for a volatile price move.
Key Points:
- Dogecoin open interest rose above $1.08 billion as traders watched a liquidation cluster near $0.074.
- No wallet evidence links Elon Musk to the 200 million DOGE transaction.
- Support sits between $0.0710 and $0.0726, while resistance extends from $0.0754 to $0.0796.
Dogecoin Transfer
Cryptonews reported the single Robinhood transaction on Jul. 21 as Dogecoin traded with modest daily gains. The transfer drew attention because derivatives positioning was already elevated, with open interest above $1.08 billion.
The buyer remains unidentified.
Musk’s name quickly entered market discussion because his past comments have repeatedly influenced Dogecoin sentiment, but the report cited no wallet data or other evidence connecting him to the purchase. The speculation therefore remains unsupported.
Traders are focused on a dense liquidation area near $0.074. A sustained move above that level could force short sellers to close positions, adding buying pressure, while a failed breakout could leave leveraged buyers exposed.

Dogecoin Outlook
Dogecoin was trading near the 50% Fibonacci retracement level around $0.074, after recently reclaiming that zone. The immediate test is whether buyers can turn it into support.
Liquidation data placed support from $0.0710 to $0.0726 and resistance from $0.0754 to $0.0796. The Supertrend indicator also marked roughly $0.0796 as a near-term ceiling, while spot demand and on-balance volume remained weak.
Holding $0.074 could open a move toward $0.0755 and $0.076 as short positions unwind. A continued range between $0.071 and $0.074 remains possible, while a break below $0.071 could send the token toward $0.070. Analyst Trader Tardigrade has cited longer-term cycle targets of $0.653, $0.70 and above $1.25. Those projections depend on a broader crypto bull cycle and do not describe the present setup.
The near-term direction may also depend on Bitcoin (BTC), which often influences wider crypto trading. Dogecoin has repeatedly combined thin spot demand, leveraged positioning and Musk-related speculation, making unexplained transfers especially potent catalysts for sudden swings.
