Samsung is preparing four Galaxy S27 flagships for early 2027, according to import records that name a new Pro tier alongside the standard, Plus and Ultra models.

Galaxy S27 Records Point To A New Pro Tier
Trade and customs entries surfaced the four devices last week, and reporters detailed them on Jul. 24, roughly six months before the range is expected to arrive.
The phones carry internal codenames NM1 through NM4, short for "Next Miracle." Samsung used a plain "Miracle" label across the three-model Galaxy S26 range, which shipped earlier this year.
Coverage maps NM1 to the base Galaxy S27, NM2 to the S27+, NM3 to the Pro and NM4 to the Ultra, with the Pro slotting between the Plus and the top model. The result is two mainstream phones and two premium ones, a structure that echoes Apple's iPhone strategy and hands Samsung a second high-end slot to fill.

Sony Cameras Separate Pro And Ultra Models
The Pro and the Ultra both pick up a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera built on Sony's IMX855 sensor, a 1/2.55-inch part that Samsung already uses in the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Each also gains a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with optical stabilization and a 16-megapixel front camera with autofocus. The standard S27 and the S27+ keep a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide, though the main sensor is new and reportedly comes from an outside supplier.
Not every detail lines up.
One version of the leak gives the Ultra two telephoto lenses, while other coverage cautions that a single 50-megapixel zoom remains the safer read. Korean tipster Lanzuk says Samsung is testing silicon-carbon cells across the S27 range, with a capacity gain of roughly 10% over the S26 generation under discussion.
Cost could push that chemistry out of the cheapest model, leaving the lineup split on batteries as well as cameras, and Samsung has said nothing publicly.
Samsung Battery And Sensor Track Record
Samsung shipped silicon-carbon cells for the first time this month in the Galaxy Z Fold 8 line, ending years of public caution about a chemistry it had spent years developing. Chinese rivals moved far earlier, and phones such as the OnePlus 15 already carry 7,300 mAh cells built the same way, well beyond anything Samsung sells.
The camera plan has a longer backstory. Samsung has fitted its own ISOCELL parts in the main camera of base S-series phones since the Galaxy S22, a run of five straight generations. The last Sony sensor in that slot shipped on the Galaxy S21 in 2021, which makes the reported switch the first supplier change there in six years.
