Trump Promises to End Biden's 'War on Crypto', Wants to Be a Bitcoin President

Former United States President Donald Trump has promised to end President Joe Biden’s “war on crypto”. Of course, that is a one more promise Trump makes for the scenario when he is elected.

“I will end Joe Biden’s war on crypto, and we will ensure that the future of crypto and the future of Bitcoin will be made in America. We’re going to keep it right here, and a lot of it is going to be done right here in Florida,” Trump said during a public event in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump had criticized Biden's harsh stance on crypto many times before. But this time his criticism went as far as to claim that Biden is a 'crooked president, the worst president in the history of our country.'

Trump also supported his previous statement that the rest of Bitcoin should be made in America. He added that the U.S. must not settle for anything but top place in the crypto industry.

This goes directly against Biden's actions. The acting president has fueled public anger against Bitcoin mining, having publicly said about the high energy consumption and environmental impact. Biden has also proposed a 30% electricity tax for miners.

That gives Trump grounds to claim that 'Biden wants crypto to die a slow and painful death. That will never happen with me.'

The election day is scheduled for 5 November. And this time crypto industry might watching the closely.
